Intermediate Training Level (Grades 4-7)

An audition is required for placement in Intermezzo. Some singers may already read music and have some singing skill, but some may have little to no music experience.

Skills taught:

• preparation for multiple part singing

• rhythm patterns and melodies

• musical terminology and theory

Performances:

• Joint recitals with Primo Voce in Fall and Spring

• Performing with all NCYC choirs in December and May

• Some outside performance experiences such as holiday caroling in public venues​
